BOSON Whitewater was founded in 2011 by Vikas Brahmavar and Gowthaman Desingh, driven by a shared conviction that India’s cities cannot keep depending on borewells and tankers alone. Growing up amid water-sharing disputes in Karnataka, Vikas saw early on how fragile freshwater access really is. That experience shaped BOSON’s mission: to build a reliable “3rd Source of Water” by recovering the roughly 80% of STP-treated water that apartments, malls, and IT parks in Bengaluru currently discharge to drain. What began as a water-softening and treatment equipment business has evolved into a full-stack, IoT-enabled water recycling platform, now backed by investors including Indian Angel Network and Zerodha’s Rainmatter.

Products & Services:

BOSON designs, installs, and operates modular patented tertiary treatment systems that upgrade existing STP-treated water to high-quality, reusable water (meeting BIS 10500:2012 standards for non-potable and potable-grade applications). Services include end-to-end plant design, installation, and OPEX-based operation (pay-per-use), supply of BOSON White water via tankers, real-time IoT water quality monitoring.
