What inspired you to move into entrepreneurship and start VIPNIK LLP?

I returned from the United States to India after noticing a decline in the overall quality and mindset within the animation industry. Animation is not just a technical skill—it is a form of emotional expression. Many productions focused only on movement rather than performance and storytelling. My experience working on international projects showed me what global standards truly look like, and it motivated me to start VIPNIK Studios to help bring that mindset and level of quality to India.

What was the core vision behind VIPNIK LLP when you started it?

The core vision behind VIPNIK Studios was to elevate the standard of animation in India. I wanted to build an environment that focuses on what truly matters in animation—performance, emotion, storytelling, and strong artistic foundations. The goal was not only to produce global-standard animation but also to educate artists and help shift the industry’s mindset from simply completing tasks to creating meaningful and expressive animation.

What has been the toughest challenge in building VIPNIK LLP, and how did you overcome it?

One of the toughest challenges has been earning the trust of international clients as a new studio. Even with experience on major productions, building credibility takes time. Funding, building a skilled team, and balancing education with studio work have also been challenges. The approach has been simple—stay consistent, maintain high standards, communicate transparently, and continue reaching out to studios while proving our reliability through the work we deliver.

Innovation requires persistence, strong partnerships, and a long-term vision. Animation is a refined art that demands patience and dedication. When artists focus not only on technical skill but on understanding characters and emotions, true innovation begins to emerge.”Innovation requires persistence, strong partnerships, and a longterm vision.

In your industry, how critical are trust and ethics, and how do you ensure them?

Trust and ethics are essential in animation production, especially when working with international studios. Clients need to feel that their projects are safe and that their creative vision will be respected. At VIPNIK Studios, we build trust through transparent communication, strict respect for intellectual property and NDAs, adapting to each studio’s pipeline, and consistently delivering lobal-standard quality with a low-risk and collaborative approach.

Which achievement of VIPNIK LLP makes you most proud so far?

While launching the studio and beginning production work are important milestones, what makes me most proud is the educational aspect of VIPNIK. Training and developing artists to reach industry-level performance is the most meaningful achievement. When artists begin to understand animation not just as movement but as performance and emotion, that growth represents the real impact the studio aims to create.

How do you see India’s/global role in your industry evolving in the next decade?

India has the potential to become one of the world’s major animation hubs in the next decade. With the right focus on education, quality, and creative leadership, the industry can move beyond outsourcing and begin contributing more original ideas and storytelling. With studios like VIPNIK focusing on skill development and global standards, India can build stronger collaborations with international studios and elevate its reputation worldwide.

Our mission is to empower innovation by enabling seamless access to quality solutions. Through strong education and disciplined training, artists develop better skills, and with better skills comes stronger storytelling, better animation, and a more advanced industry.

Where do you envision VIPNIK LLP five years from now?

In five years, I envision VIPNIK Studios becoming a recognized global animation partner that collaborates with major studios around the world. Alongside production work, the studio will continue building a strong educational ecosystem that trains artists to international standards. Ultimately, the goal is to contribute both high-quality service work and original intellectual property that reflects strong storytelling and performance-driven animation.

What advice would you give to startups aiming to create meaningful impact?

Before trying to scale or expand, truly master the craft. In animation, skill and understanding of performance are the foundation of everything. Startups should focus on developing strong artistic discipline, building a reliable team, and maintaining high standards. Once the skill and foundation are strong, growth and opportunity will follow naturally.

What does ‘innovation’ truly mean to you in the context of your work?

Innovation in animation means improving how stories and performances are communicated through movement and emotion. It involves eveloping new workflows, supporting artists in a creative environment, and combining technology with strong storytelling principles. True innovation happens when technical skill, artistic understanding, and collaboration come together to push animation beyond simple motion into meaningful performance.

If you had one message for young professionals entering your industry, what would it be?

Always keep learning and leave your ego behind. Animation is an art that constantly evolves, and even experienced artists continue to learn every day. The moment someone believes they know everything is the moment growth stops. Stay curious, study performance, and treat every project as an opportunity to improve your craft.

Founder Insights: Focus on solving meaningful challenges, remain consistent, and build strong collaborative networks. You do not need to give one hundred percent every day, but you should make sure you learn something new every single day.
